GEO5 FEM (Proper)
The Finite Element Method (FEM) program is used for modeling and analysis of a wide range of geotechnical problems, including terrain settlement, sheet pile/diaphragm walls, slope stability, and excavation analysis. It offers several material models for soils and a variety of structural elements such as walls, anchors, geotextiles, and geogrids. The GEO5 FEM performs the computation of displacements, internal forces in structural elements, stresses and strains, and plastic zones in the soil, and offers an option to do it in multiple construction stages for the same model.
There are four advanced add-ons to FEM; Tunnel Water Flow, Consolidation, and Earthquake.
